Sold!

Isn’t it great when you sell something, clear out your garage, and know the person who bought your stuff is happy to upcycle?

I just sold some (40+!) clear etched glass vases that I know I won’t ever use, but they were too pretty to just toss or give away. I bought them to use in my catering business, but never did.

The gal who bought them is getting married in September and will use them on her tables. She was so happy she hugged me when she left! Her fiance wasn’t quite as excited (!), but I could tell, he was happy she was happy– and that has left a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

So sometime later this summer, there is going to be a celebration of two people coming together, enjoying their wedding and reception, while having a stranger’s vases on the table.

Those vases will be filled with fresh flowers, and will also be infused with thoughts and hopes of well wishes from me….Congratulations Tonya and fiance, and many wishes for a life spent well together!
